Student Participation in Annual Statewide Assessments

In accordance with NJ Administrative Code 6A:8-4.1, Sayreville administers the NJSLA, NJGPA and WIDA Access to all required students as a means of measuring student progress in meeting state standards in English Language Arts, mathematics and science. Both the state of New Jersey and the Sayreville Public Schools expect all students to participate in these high stakes assessments that are used to monitor academic progress of our students, however, we recognize that there may be special cases where parents would request student exclusion from assessments. Please download the form below to request that your student not be assessed and email it to your child's principal.
